Could Cain the brother of Abel be living among us?

Tedd,

I like your questions, but some questions can be better answered by God
Himself. God gives us what is enough for our salvation; if all detailed
accounts of every event were written, I think the world could not contain
this.
For example, Genesis 4:17 tells us "Cain lay with his wife and she gave
birth ..." Where did she come from? Where did he get her? Some people say he
married one of his sisters; I don't know this, but all I know is he was
married.
Same Genesis 4:14-15 says "If anyone finds me he will kill me... Anyone who
kills you will suffer vengeance..." Where were these people? Maybe those who
would be born later, I don't know.
In 2nd Corinthians 12:7-10, Paul says "there was given me a thorn in the
flesh..." Are we told what thorn this was? NO!
We can have many questions about the Bible, but should getting answers to
these questions determine our salvation? NO! So what we know about God is
enough to make us live for Him.

To answer your questions, I don't know and I don't think anyone knows what
mark was put on Cain coz the Bible doesn't tell us. We may come up with
ideas that can be wrong and misleading. Just like the fruit in middle of the
garden of Eden, we all have our ideas, but no one has confirmed the exact
truth. So what do we do? Just say it was a fruit coz the Bible says so.
Is Cain still homeless wanderer? Will someone find him 2000 years later and
kill him? No, he died many years ago. I was trying to check the Bible today
After reading your mail, but didn't get at what age he died. I am sure he
died coz none of the people the Bible talks about outlived Methuselah, who
died aged 969 years (Genesis 5:27). We don't have anyone over 2000 years old
now, as per what we know.

Regards,
Ford Wilson

Guys,

According to Genesis 4.12 and Genesis 4.15 Cain was cursed for killing Abel.
He pleaded with God concerning his punishment and what a loving God we have.
The writer says God put a mark on his head so that people wount kill him. My
questions therefore are as follows:

What kind of a mark is this?

Is he still a homeless wonderer among us?

Will somebody ever get to discover him 2000 years later?

Thanks
