RE: 04 - RE: Anyone for Kogalo Vs Sofapaka Match

Indeed the GOR sofapaka game was above the Kenyan standard.I was really impressed with the crowd also.I hope rhe soccer administrators in Kenya can borrow a leaf from the management of Club football.Bravo Sofapaka for the excellent display and for GOR for their resilience.

That was a good match given what Kenyan football had turned into just two or three years ago. People are going back to the stadia to watch club football. Gor are young and very enthusiastic; Paka have experience in great depth - in fact all their forwards were professionals who have been places.
Even though expectations were very high for Gor to beat Wana Nyiau, the game proved a few lessons that will help both Sofapaka and Gor and ultimately the entire Kenyan soccer. Long Live Kenya and Welcome once again to Soccer made in Kenya
