Judy,
I dont want to sound mean but everytime i have to do sports with women, i have to be very very careful. Let me explain. I work in a field dominated by women (social work) and during our annual activities days, we do a variety of sports. The one game women and our agency loves is Kickball (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kickball). This is a game popular in USA and women love it.

I have no problem playing this game with women but some of them forget that they are suppose to be kicking the ball not mine. Same with the beach volleyball you are advocating. You play with women and instead of aiming the ball on an empty spot to score, they aim the ball on your balls. That hurts.

Thanks Judy,
I will arrive in akala shoes and a speedo but I will be topless. So if your friends get scared of over haired chests, biceps and other ghasia, tell them to take anti-anxiety medication. Lets hope that the ladies dont play the balls but focus on the match. Sitaki kuumizwa na sita umizana.

Remind them to dress appropriately. The fewer and less clothes one wears the better. Beach football (i thought it was volleyball? Kwani people do football on beaches?) is not for Wangari Mathai dressed women and Akorinos. Nudists may be more welcome there than a Wangari Maathai maxi dressed woman.

Papa Likondi,
Dont you think this is a way of God compensating people? Ever wondered why those who are physically disabled are gifted with huge talibos and the tallest and bigest men with the smallest talibos? I was watching a Black Comedy and the fellow was lamenting about those in special ed, some with MR (mental retardation) or physical disability who used to flash their talibos to girls and when the "normal" students flashed the same, the girls got shocked with what they saw (nothing).

That may be the reason why women who do very well in hard sciences and excell in technical areas are not the prettiest. Even men doing well in this area have multiple deficiencies even in social relations and women complain that they are bure kabisa in bed. The ugly men may not have a good career and may have flopped in high school or primary school but they rarely let women down in bed. They are gifted below the belt and so compensate there what they may have lost upstairs and in their wallets. Same applies to thin and short men, their monkeys are not that thin or short.

Oh they even say brown ladies are not good in bed. The blacker the !@#$%^&^ the hotter the body. But also remember the thinner the lady the wider the !#$^&**%^**(((&^%%$%$%$%% hence can not be satisfied by a human being.

Re: siaya county

We will steer the County onto a better path, a path of economic, social and political progress.

We will take control of our natural resources and use that wealth to build a more caring and equitable society. Part of the sky will belong to us. We will hold our hands up and say " we count at last, thank God almighty we count at last".

We will provide incentives for our professionals and the diaspora to come home and invest. The poor, the kids the dispossessed, they shall not be left behind.

Yes, we will build something beautiful in Siaya dala.

Courage,
Maurice

Jagem thura, Siaya has always been the hotbed of progressive politics and now we have the opportunity to show the rest of the Republic what we are made of. We do not need representatives that look down their noses at the people.

I have sat down with brave men and women of Siaya in chang'aa and busaa dens and they have shared their hopes and dreams and fears with me. They have asked that we have leaders who respect them and care about their welfare. My very good friend Ong'wen who repairs bicycles at Ukwala Market is better suited to represent Ugenya e Legico for example but he has never had a platform on which to stand. We'll give him that platform. The time for these so-called professors has passed.

JaGem Nera, hear me on this one. Jackline Oduol and Elizabeth Ongoro are totally unacceptable to the Siaya electorate. I will personally travel from Nyadorra/Usonga to Ng'iya, from Yimbo to Asembo, from Yala to Sidindi and from Rang'ala to Sega and Ukwala to spread the message that we as a pepole of Siaya must chart our own destiny and we do not need these proffessors from Nairobi who disrespect us to come here to lead us. We'll hire them as technical support, that's it.

We have a chance to build something beautiful in Siaya.

Courage,

To Mi Naulisa wewe Maurice, "What does the Voter want?" Are you the entire voting block of Siaya Kababa; thur gi Musa Juma, gi Benta Nyar Koyugi kaachiel gi "Odham Wembe" yaani Ng'ola?

Now, whether you don't want them near power or not, these people may work themselves into, those positions of power. The best thing to do is to start your campaingns and civic education now, so that, when the right time comes you can be elected as Governor. From here you can then effectively install institutions in the County that will make it be a model of Administration.

If you do not do this then what will happen is that these people you "Reject" will be the ones to implement the said institutions. That is when trouble sets in. Going by the past development records of these people, nothing much will be achieved. I also seriously doubt if Oburu will be equal to the task!!!!!! As far as I am concerned if I do not become the Governor, then there is a young Budding Businessman from Ugunja (the place where Maro did mysterious things) He goes by the name Muwanga. He already brought a lot of Maendeleo over there using his own efforts and funds. He is the progressive type. Nonetheless, I will beat him and probably make him my Leutenant (Deputy) Governor.

Dr Oburu Odinga can actually make a good governor but he has to give us a commitment that he'll surround himself with professionals that will help him implement development policies. Siaya should be a pilot project of how a County should be run and I for one I am willing to take a year off my job in Canada to help the County build capacity.

JT, Siaya produces the highest number of Professors in the country and it's only logical that we become a pilot and show the rest of the country how a County should be run. I just don't want Prof Jackline Oduol anywhere near power.
She's a very arrogant lady and has no connection with the reality on the ground. Let her stay in Nairo as a Deputy Secretary. The Alego/Usonga electorate rejected her candidacy in 2007 and now that I look back I think they had a prescient take on her.I do not want Elizabeth Ongoro either. She's a very proud lady. I arranged for her and a group of officials from the Nairobi Metropolitan Ministry to visit our Drinking Water facility here in Canada and she was only interested in talking to the Wazungus and not me, the person who organized the visit. That I found to be unacceptable. She has to go. The Kasarani electorate has to tuff her out in 2012.

Orengo will be a good Senator for Siaya County though. Otiende Amolo comes across as a braggart. I don't want him near power either. Let him do his law thing in Nairo.

We are on our own now and we have to make it happen; we will. Siaya will be the shining star in the Republic if I have the chance to do the staffing for the County.

Chris Owala, let's work on this.

Re: Handsome Men vs Ugly Men in Bed

Mary,

I will have to reject that myth.

In fact both Kuria Mwangi and I will reject that notion with great vehemence because the 2 of us are living proof that one can bo both handsome and excellent "down there".

Ama unasemaje kakangu Kuria? Huu si ni uongo mkubwa?

Courage,
Maurice

Guys

Dont misconstrue me. I had an argument with some of my friends and they say that handsome men are mostly eye candy but will never satisfy you down there. They say that if you want real game, please try hooking up with a brother who is not so well blessed with nice and babyface sura.

What do you think?

Re: Handsome Men vs Ugly Men in Bed

Kimathi,
Stop blowing your own trumpet. God is all merciful and creates all men equally. This means he gives you this and take away that. That is why some men lacks brains but God may give them muscles, he may give you mbogoro (bow legs) but gives you the best hands. Ngai ndariaga ngima (God does not eat ugali) and so he does not reason like us. Just check your classmates and look at those who excelled in sports and science. They had one thing in common-ugliness. Those of us who failed in sports, science and maths got compensated abit upstairs and more below the belt. You cant have it all and so I suspect you are probably handsome but small or small but handsome but because God gave you another gift, of bragging, you have to brag anyway.

Re: Thyroid nodules

Medicine is no longer a vocation but a tool of trade for most medics.Services are sold to the highest bidder.  Patients will die as medics watch because they are not able to pay the demanded amounts. This state of things has been perpetuated because Kenyans have not been vocal about it. Students are going into medicine because of the PRESTIGE that it has COME TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH.Parents are pushing their children to become Doctors because of the rewards that this profession is said to offer. We  have to arise and say no to this rot.If you would like to be part of a group of very ordinary Kenyans who have been championing the cause for compassionate ,affordable and quality health care, please visit website www.morrismosesfoundation.org or write to them at info@ morrismosesfoundation.org.You can also join their ROT IN THE HEALTH SECTOR AND MEDICS GONE BAD,SILENT NO MORE CAMPAIGNS

Linet,

If Dr Masinde is an ENT Surgeon at Kenyatta Hospital where he is the head of ENT, why the hell does he charge a patient KShs 40K on top of his tax-payer funded salary?

Why does he not treat the patient at KNH for the salary he is paid? We Kenyans have allowed our doctors to fleece citizens by being paid twice for the same job: a salary and perks for his payroll job at KNH whilst they at the same time use their tax-payer contracted hours to charge patients (who they should be treating at public hospitals) heavy fees in private hospitals!

It is NOT just Kenyan Judges that need vetting: Kenyan doctors need thorough screening!

The best option is for Dr Masinde to quit his KNH post altogether and work privately where he is charging the KShs 40K to treat patients.

The new Kenya should not allow for this entrenched conflict of interest by doctors in public hospitals!

What sayest you Dr Masinde and colleagues?

B.

Mary Matwengworo,

Finally, we now see women coming out clearly on matters sex.  I don't know why most shy away from this subject.

The wholly remarkable guide book has this to say about SEX;  Well, in fact there is an awful lot of this, largely because of the total lack of money, trade, art or anything else that might keep all the nonexistent people in the Universe occupied.

However, it is not worth embarassing on a long discussion of it now because it really is terribly complicated...

Are you telling us thereof that you are not satisfied "down there"?  and if so, is there anything we or rather I can do?

Re: Where is PLO Lumumba

I agree with Omondi, we tend to rely so much on media which in most cases engage in theatrics to make you want to read more.  The resilient approach, but executing is the best way to deal with the numerous unsolved cases that have been collecting dust in the anti corruption unit.  Exposure to the media will simply elevate the drama level.  Give PLO time and room to do his job.

Mary,

This is where we all get it wrong.
It does not necessarily mean that because its not in the media we are not doing anything.
Please visit our offices and in particular Economic Investigation Department and ask for a Mrs. Omedo.
She will give you the tally of all cases they have handled and how many prosecutions they have managed.
Its just a different strategy that we have approached.

Thanks,
Omondi Omondi.

I want to believe that the fight against corruption should not be the preserve of Prof PLO Lumumba. He is the face guiding the fight.

It is time we asked ourselves; what are we doing to help in the fight?

Kenyans should join in and help as we demand for service delivery. It is us who vote in the people who have presided over all the scandals we have had in Kenya. It is us who must design our destiny.

PLO Lumumba has gone to sleep. I once said that this guy is just "one of them" and he has been appoinyed to protect the interests of the many corrupt politicians. Lumumba has not even started growing teeth to bite these hyenas. Bureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Kabisaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Re: MIKE SONKOS ALLEGED ATTACK ON DJ LEO

Muita,
Some fellow who was let in the other day had the audicity to insult Ayuaya, our only Rep. in the Communist Republic of China and our only link to the Dalai Lama. Omondi needed to be whipped so that he does not dare insult any other person in Ayuaya's calibre. Such insults are only reserved for children of the lesser god not for elders such as Ayuaya who is now qualified to be a Governor of a small sized county.

Killion,
I would agree with you. I have never seen Ayuayah attack anybody in these fora. I actually meant to ask him if he a Buddhist monk in China because he is so quiet and peaceful, refusing to join fights even when his own brothers and sisters are being attacked. That is why Omosh hurt my feelings when he insulted our only monk (Ayuaya has not even told us whether he has a China woman or a Kenyan woman and that is why most of us also think he is a monk). I would rather the fellow insulted me instead of attacking Ayuaya. One day he will attack a heathen such as Mburi or Likondi or Muita and he will see cha mtema kuni.

But he has apologized and so the need to move on.

Only Papa Likondi is allowed to insult people but that is because he gets a kick out of it and we would rather he got kicks out of insults than let him over smokes marijuana and destroys his mind.

Bishop Kuria wa Mwangi,

What's going on here?
