Even as we proceed to Vote on the 4th, it is worth noting that the Punishment that Eve was given as the couple left the Garden of Eden, after eating the forbidden fruit, does not make sense at all. First, God doesn't seem to have considered at that time, scientific advancements in the 21st Century where giving birth would not necessarily be painful. And secondly, and this is amazing, he makes marriage a must. He actually doesn't envisage single parenthood.
Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said,
"I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children.
Your desire shall be for your husband,
and he shall rule over you."

This God must have imagined that giving birth would be the traditional painful experience forever. But man has found a way of beating that punishment.
-- You see, today women folk have a lot of options when it comes to giving birth. If you really do not want to feel pain, just check into Nairobi Hospital, and let them give you anesthesia, and nicely operate on you thus getting you newly born child right from your womb. No pain!! The only pain shall be the one of healing pole pole.
As for the second part where the desire "shall be for your husband" we agree that today, it is not a must for a woman to even have a husband. C'mon Christians, can you dispute that this story is a Myth, even with this astounding evidence?
Or am i wrong here?
