Following the arrest of the pastor of Vision Church (A PNU councillors as well) on Saturday with bomb making material en route Mombasa, for the next days Tononoka grounds church NO rally we assume,...the SILENCE on this and other fora is very LOUD. Katiba Sasa campaign and other NGOs yesterday held a press con at Serena where we vigourously challenged the ongoing culture of hippocrisy in this country. As grown ups we all know the diffrence between right and wrong in an intrinsic sense, yet we are complacent and turn the other way when we see lies, poverty, exploitation, distortion, extortion. Suba Churchils reprimand to the church was very strong and rooted in truth indeed and I commend him for his courage and candour to speak so forthrightly in front of the cameras. We believe the YES campain will win on Aug 4th. I spent some time with a senior advisor to the king yesterday and the info I got was very good. There is no dilly dally on this one, vps and ministers have been whipped into shape to forget side shows and move decisively to deliver to Kenya what had been promised in 2002 in 100 days. I maintain that the hole the so called "Church" has dug itself into, may take years even decades to climb out of. From distorting the gospel of Christ, a gospel of love, compassiona and tolerance to one of earthly things, money and power the institution has been a source of the confusion and hippocrisy we see creeping into our boardrooms and homes, bedrooms and workers unions. The good news is young leaders who will especially grow under the new constitutional order are taking charge and propagating a different culture. A culture of boldness and courage, speaking truth to power at all times. We denounce lies and propaganda and are saddened that a pastor who came from jail just recently would ride into a prayer rally on the roof top of a Range Rover grab the mic and ask "umeona ile chum nimeigia nayo". And still find people on this forum to defend him and justify his actions. While we dont PROFESS much religion and all that, we forgive you wayward brethren but we will not forget. Katiba ni YES! p.s Let's add 10 to that 62%. hip hip hooray

Jagem, With all due respect Sodomy, sex or whatever behavior priests may have has nothing to do with our constitution. Why don't bring a valid genuine case on the abortion case. Yours is not just petty but a stupid argument, get serious men. Is this a sign of desperation because yes camp is losing terribly? By the way I'm not a catholic and I'm not supporting fathers behavior, I just don't see how relevant this is now three weeks away from referendum. You either get serious or shut up, don't just write all the trash in your mind here. These are the same people telling us how bad the KATIBA is when they have failed miserably to deal with these ills in the church. What moral authority do they have to lecture the country on abortion, homosexuality and such which are thriving within them and perpetrated by their kind to crisis levels? I was astounded that the Catholic church clergy were called by none other than The Cardinal Jonh Njue and these were the agenda for discussion!!! How can we know whether the spiralling abortions are not as a result of Fathers taking care of business after abusing small girls and that spiralling homosexuality is not fuelled by the Fathers sodomizing boys? This father had a a big 'probrem' with the pronounciation of letter R and letter L. He quite often mixed them. On this particular occassion he was asking the Congregation to do something very unique. As he was going on with the sermon he asked the Congregation to "PLACE THE ROD".There was hesitation before a number of people answered Halleluya. On the same not the Father himself answered "Hareruya." Now that was a school "Misa." But when we got back to school, roumers were doing rounds in school that "Father amezowea kuweka mlingoti ndani, mpaka anasahau, hata kanisani, ana aambia watu waweke mlingoti (The Father has gotten used to placing the Rod inside to a point, he even forgets that he is in church, and keeps urging the congregation to place the Rod. This was in reference to his escapades outside the church. He was known to be a carefree fellow, especially in the environs of the 'Town center of Mombasa Island. Many a times he was seen with "collections" accompanying him to lodgings, while on other occasions young "Misa Boys" would complain about being sodomized, at the church premises in Chamgamwe. After many complaints, the Catholic church only transferred him to another diocese in Kitui. Now, for the last twenty years; year after year I have read the escapades of Catholic so called "Fathers" being charged with Sodomy not only in Kenya but the world over. Back in 2003 while still plying my trade in Juja near Thika, one Catholic father was almost lynched when he was discovered to 'becoming too much' in sodomizing young "Misa" Boys in Kalimoni. Sodomy has become like a script in the Catholic ca-theism. So when I see their head asking catholics to reject the draft, I keep wondering on whose behalf is he talking. For Kenyans or for his group of sodomizers? Have a spiritual but sodomy free day. | I really don't understand these issues of religion verses faith. The clergy men are busy saying abortion should not be legalized, busy with NO campaign, busy raping women, busy sodomizing children. What is all this. Some of these clergy are not allowed to get married yet they are busy saying you should not use contraceptives because God said go and multiply yet they are themselves "not multiplying". Guys could we comfortably say something is wrong some where. How do you tell me to eat food yet you don't want to taste it if really its as good as you are saying? Lets come to the issue of catholic priests. These guys are supposed to be more fit than the common man. You know what i mean. These guys are in contact with ladies every day. what do you think they feel. They may suppress it for sometimes but my dear it may not take long ESPECIALLY IF THIS GUY NEVER BREASTFED LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW PR. He will do unavoidable. Should we blame them for engaging themselves in sexual activities? From the human point of view NO. Sex is among the hierarchy of needs according to Maslow. Read the attached notes on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. This is a psychologist who descried these needs. After reading this attachment, would you blame the priests or the religion? Remember these guys join priesthood at the tender age without a lot of knowledge on their physiological issues. Guys I believe God will judge you according to your faith but not religion. Lets join hands with our brother priests and understand they are human beings denied their sexual rights. I hope none of them will read this article because i may be thrown out of church on sunday MINUS sacrament. I hope they will also understand why we are saying YES to the constitution. We don't want to be NO NO , and in our houses YES YES YES behind the curtains. Don't be confused guys. DO WHAT YOU SAY AND SAY WHAT YOU DO. I stand to be corrected.
