Actually Oto,
When you meet Prince, tell him people are now reading and referring to the draft KATIBA and not these long reads, that is why even us we have decided on sharing just a few chapters everyday and very short quick reads on clarifying the misinformations. This is the new strategy.
Everyone decides atleast 3 weeks prior to a vote, usually very firmly meaning, 65% have made up their minds to vote YES and only 20% are seeing RED!!!. Another 20% need convincing, which is what we are doing and they do not have all the time in the world to read long articles.
When you meet Prince tomorrow and he confides in you about the awaited defection, tell him he need not worry, the GREENS have plenty of space for him.
Please let him do the announcement himself like Michuki and Jamleck did, you see, you and Oduya got too excited and announced Kombo's defection before he got to gather the press for a defection conference and now he is very mad because he was astounded by pressmen and women making endless calls asking if it was true he defected. He got intimadated and the NO put pressure on him.
Naturally, because he had not announced it himself he denied it and now you see you have forced him into a tight corner. (And he was just preparing to call me to confide in me as he always does before making major political announcements, you payukad too soon and now he chickened out!!!!!)

Subject: [NewVisionKenya] Re: [africa-oped] Legal & Moral Cases against the CoE Draft
| Prince, If I were you, I would summarize all my arguments against the draft in to one page quick reads. Let me tell you; no Kenyan is now interested in reading long articles on the Proposed Constitution. We are set on the final lap and this is a sprint. The time for going slow, the time for the marathon is gone. Summary my friend; summary is what will now win the race. The beauty is, Kenyans have decided, and 95% of us are going to Vote YES on 4th August. Our breakfast date still stands as agreed earlier. Peace and blessings Brother Prince.
