Re: Its too early to discrminate against MUSLIMS

Carl Mullwoh,
Never ascribe yourself better rights in Kenya than other Kenyan because you come from a specific community. You have no right above mine to this country and you have no right to tell anyone to move to another country. Kenya is not a state that ascribes to your religion; it is multi-ethnic and multi-religious. It is that false entitlement that certain religious group has given itself over time that is letting this country fray at the edges. That entitlement is what caused this state to almost crumble. It is that false entitlement that is the foe against which the new constitution is supposed to protect.
The propsed committe does not project that face of Kenya and untill it does so we will continue to point out this flaw, regardless of your xenophobic feeling.

Salah and hassan
your question is crap.. you can read all the discriminations you want in anything and everything.
What is the your "muslim" going to do in the cabinet committee that the rest of that committee cannot do?

what makes one a muslim.. ? or christian.. is it the name? how many atheists are represented in that committee..?  how many children are there..? how many youth representatives?how many heterosexuals..? how many albinos are in that committee..? how many ogieks are there in the committee? how many Njemps? Indians?

by the way, some of us get soooo bored with this religious noise you guys keep making.

My take is, there are soo many "muslim countries" to move to if one is uncomfortable here. In those muslim countries, there are no christians or other religions in their cabinets or committees.. infact, in some of them, one is not permitted to build a church. In other words, muslims are fulling represented there..

well, sorry to make you guys mad, but that is a fact. Everybody has been discriminated

If you want to see discrimination, there is every reason to complain about everything.

Carl

It is my considered opinion that anyone that always talks or thinks about representing the "face of Kenya" is a tribalist. Do you care more about service delivery or your tribe, religion etc? How many barbers or 'salonists' are there in Nairobi? Are Muslims or any other tribe / religion well represented in the number of barbers in Nairobi? I have not heard anyone complain that they cannot get a hair cut or hair do because their religion/tribe is not equally represented in the above mentioned trades. How many 'fish-n-chips' takeaways are there in the city? are enough of them operated by muslims to ensure 'balanced' service delivery to the muslims? WTF? Stop tribalism. Think development and service delivery.

Cabinet Implementation Committe

and Attorney General Amos Wako.

The above is the list that has been approved as the cabinet committee of implementing the constitution. Does this list comply with the new constitution? Does it show the face of Kenya ethnically and religiously?
It is very sad that Muslims are not represented in this group, women are also not represented. It seems people have not really changed their attitude even with the new constitution.
We reject this list until it is amended and balanced to reflect the face of Kenya.
Raila and Kibaki must stop this discriminative attitude.
