You served for some time as the chair of the Parliamentary Select Committee on the political dispensation. You failed to deliver. On the draft, you played a critical role when the document was reviewed in Naivasha. You are on record as having proposed the highest number of amendments which surprisingly were adopted by the members.

You supported the draft especially after ensuring that the system of government will not be parliamentary but presidential. You said Yes until your political arch-rival and Prime Minister Raila Odinga said Yes and that is when you started saying No. Is it true that you oppose the document because your dream of being the king of Rift Valley Province will be shattered by this Constitution?
