Gertrude's Children's Hospital - Response

 

We, Gertrude's Children's Hospital (Gertrude's), have taken note of the circulating e-mail with regard to alleged inappropriate care in our facilities

Gertrude's confirms that feedback from our customers is appreciated and uses every opportunity to review our services in light of feedback given.  Our feedback process is very open and anybody can give feedback directly to the Chief Executive Officer or any member of staff.

Gertrude's affirms to having laid down structures for patient care, review and referral that are governed by best practice standards recognized internationally. We also constantly review our services through a continuous quality improvement process.

With regard to the said e-mail, we invite the aggrieved person or anybody known to them to come and meet the Chief Executive Officer and if indeed there be an issue, it will be addressed.
