Re: Hyped Tribalism at Eldoret Polytechnic

Tribalism is tribalism whether in big institutions or small ones, all must be condemned. There is no BIG tribalism and SMALL tribalism.

If you have been here long, you must have seen when we openned the can of worms that was and still is the Finance Ministry. We are still at KATIBA matters and once it is passed, it will be used to clear up such mess because it has provisions to deal with such.

That is why you should be voting YES instead of crying tribalism and voting NO all at the same time. Reform your country, transform your institutions, tribalism, big or small must be stopped but above all, kick corruption and tribalism out of Kenya by putting up structures and a constitutional order that ensures they work.

The first finger should be pointed at the Ministry of Higher education! In this case,it  must  be Ruto's predecesor Prof. Kosgey i believe.

Why do we waste time getting Educated with degrees, studying abroad bla blah... ostensibly to open our eyes to modern world ways, then we come back home and behave precisely like a village chief of the old centruries who had never travelled past his village behave!

Cant even compare, they were better than us; cause they even encouraged inter-tribal marriages to promote peace among the  different tribes (except in the case of Luanda Magere story  , where the Kalengin snookered the Luo!)

Quicks Quicks,

Like you, I have read it in the post, so I have nothing to clarify, never been to this college, but if the information is true as it seems, then it should be condemned by all who knows what tribalism has done to our country.  I just want to know who is responsible such tribal appointments? is it the board or the line ministry? that is why Kenya will never develope!!

Unlike KEMU, now look at the Top Management at Eldoret Polytechnic:
1. Cleophas Lang'at - Principal
2. Daniel Mutai - Deputy Principal
3. Isaac K K Kitach - Registrar
4. Josephat Kipkemboi - - Dean of Students
5. Kirwa S Bitok - Finance Officer
6. Kenneth K Chelimo - Deputy Registrar
