Re: Vs: RE: WHO IS THE BEST MAN TO RULE KENYA?

The best man to rule Kenya is Moi. Now we dont need a ruler, we need a leader. And the best leader will not come from amongst those currently in politics. If he comes from this group we will still not have gotten the best we could.

Frank Kioko;

I have not said that Kalonzo is a bad leader please re-read my statement. I have only said  indirectly that a leader who want to lead Kenya should think about 42 tribes in the country not 3KKK. Some body also asked me what is my point: WELL MY POINT IS THIS. FOR  SOMEBODY TO WIN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION HE NEEDS VOTERS, so the next good president depends on you, me other Kenyans who will vote. IF you vote for a bad person you will cry till his 5 years ends, but if the fellow is good no matter what tribe he is from you will find less dependency on Chinese, UK, or USA or even pirates from somalia. I hear now Africans are supposed to write an essay on the chinese aid to Kenya; Have you ever thought when will a white man or an asian write essay about Kenyan aid to China or India or to Canada?. Or that is still too strong for an African to imagine about?. Frank;  we have to move forward we can not keep on like we did  for the last 47 years. Look at Kenya today, just sit and see the local man`s salary: Imagine with that salary how many Kenyans can afford to buy a house in Nairobi today, do you want to tell us that Kenyans are more useless so they should not afford to live in their own capital city or what?.

Paul Nyandoto,

Brother you used so many words to say nothing about your subject; come clean, be sincere and re-address the issue. Hey by the way u talked about habit and I quote your words "So who has the good habit to lead Kenya?. Remember habit also as an important thing. Corrupt, killer, thieve, lier, tribalist  etc. those are already bad habits that a leader should not have". There is only one and the only one who has proven a leader with good habits The man Kalonzo, I'm not saying he is a perfect man because no one is but if your definition for a good leader is anything to go by, then he is the right man for the job. Let's face the truth that Each one of these leaders is seeking for tribal support whether that is the 9ks as you term them or KKK, this is what you will see going forward. I don't believe in tribalism but the fact is Kenyans are far from being tribal free even in this forum where most people are learned if not educated. The bitter truth is that the next president will be the one who will be supported by many communities and that is the way it is for now. Things may change later and this is my prayer but wishes do not override the reality.

I would have appreciated if you gave us the qualities of each and every leader and why you think they are perfect or not good for the job.

Frank

Whats the point? Are we going by elimination method, that is, not the 9Ks (3KKK=9Ks)? Then retitle the thread to WHO IS NOT THE BEST MAN/WOMAN TO RULE KENYA. Don't forget to discuss the two sons of our (broke) founding fathers. They had ugali and fulu together recently. One is poised to become the next president and the other is a millionaire who owns almost 1/3 of land in Kenya, has an informal army. His money kicks in big in national elections, rumours has it that he bribed the returning officers- the guys who brought in over 120% turn out figures to KICC in 2007; that he sponsored the his informal army that caused havoc in Naivasha, etc... But his money is needed to swing and oil a vibrant national campaign machinery that can 'shake all corners of the country'. This colliation needs to be discussed too.

Kenyans,

We Need good leaders and a very execellent president if we really want to prosper to an excellent level. This thing of tribalism does not work any more. So let us not keep on cheating each other that after 20112 election everything will be okey. We Kenyans have proved that we are what we repeatedly do. If it is tribalism then there we are. But do we have an habit?. An habit is like the  intersection of knowledge, skill and desire. After reading from this forum and from my basic education; Guys I will tell you that even within this forum only anybody can say that we have knowledge; since it is  the theoritical paradigm, the what to do and why?. But skill is not very much there: I mean how to do it lacks a lot. We do have the desire; alot of the forum want so and so; or want himself to be  a leader one  day . I mean that desire= motivation.

So who has the good habit to lead Kenya?. Remember habit also as an important thing. Corrupt, killer, thieve, lier, tribalist  etc.those are already bad habits that a leader should not have. Take for example the previous report that somebody is after forming 3KKK in order to be the next president: Just look where the 3KKK lives. It is already a land locked place. So if you ommit other Kenyans and form 3KKK do you still think that with this new constitution the coast people will just give you their money?. They would rather give it to AL-Sabaab to train them their youths and next time you have a presidential parade you get a gun instead of salute. A man differs from animals that he has the possibility and ability to elevate his life by conscious endeavor. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. Tribalism has dwelled in Kenyans for a very long time. But if you read the pre independence Kenyans, they had less tribalism than the present generation. Why?. They had a common factor and a goal to acomplish.

We the new Kenyan generation we do have  also a common factor and goal to acomplish. Africa, is behind in almost every parameters of human life. We have the goal to make Kenya a better place and a prosperous nation. Kenyans can not keep on dreaming that if they go  to South Africa, Europe or USA etc is when they get better living standard. We have to make Kenyans proud and make our country be the first choice for a Kenyan if given an oportunity to choose. That is why I advice you guys to forget about this 3KKK alliance, it is taking Kenyans backwards. Let us get a leader who can integrate the nation, We have 42 tribes  all of us knows that today;  so let Kenya have  42 tribe backed leader not a 3KKk combat.

Another point is this  a leader should know where his subjects get the normal basic items for human life: Water, Food, clothes,  Health, Light,  Education,  a roof over your head and atleast an information service, In  some advanced countries even an internet or TV  access is considered a basic item. Health is more challenging, because i have seen a lot who want to be leaders but hardly know where their subjects get even an ordinary first aid kit. Some leaders are very comfortible when their constituents buy  expired drugs in matatus without any diagnosis. One time I heard a leader saying that Kenya is doing well you can buy any medicine even in the bus stand nowadays. When I asked who the stupid allien was,  I was wispered to;  that is so and so he is a minister or Mp etc. Guys we are still behind. Folks who want to lead please go to the grassroot , see where your grandpa or grandma get her medicine incase she is having diarrhea, malaria, or incase she get a disease which your GP can not treat, please try to see where she is being refered to. Drugs or Medicine even prescribed medicine are now killing more people than before. Africa is known as a damping ground for even  already expired medicine all over the world. I heard one bastard saying to the youths these word`hata mimi nilikuwa ulaya miaka mingi sana`so I know this and that.; ihave read this and that, and he went on to quote Shakespeare and some english man also. I sat down and thought to myself; Are these the so called educated leaders,walking in a tie in the equatorial sunshine?. GOD we have a long way to go. The youths reaction did not suprise me, when they started shouting these words. `Leta beer`leta pesa hapa` etc. We have it all but we mess a lot in our daily life so any folks who want to lead please  tell the ordinary what sound good in their ears. That is what affects their daily life NOT quotation from England.

There is no confidence without integrity, so things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least. The next president should matter most, the new constitution should matter most therefore I do congratulate my fellow Kenyans who voted YES for the draft. You have saved Kenyans a lot of money and a lot of time. And you have saved Kenyans from the greedy politicinas who used the constitution making as a way of exploiting the tax-payers. Kenya have waisted a lot of years and money on the draft and we had no more time to be waisted especially now : Imagine other countries landed in the moon in the 1960s.  So What the hell have we been doing with our brains?. What reason do we have to keep on begging countries like China, USA, UK, Germany for help?. What reason do we have when a kenyan dies because of lack of food?.  Forget about tribalism and develop Kenya we all can be proud of.
