Your arguement makes sense. However, only a competent judge would be able to show whether the transaction was above board. If that was the case, Ruto and others should not be scared of facing the justice system and should clear their names there. Of course if Lee or Kuria were in his shoes, the response would be the same.


The part I didnt understand is the Hague one. If Ruto and Uhuru are taken there, they would not be on the ballot. But you probably meant and I agree with you that their supporters will vote for a person who has been sympathetic to them. Those supporters will vote against those perceived to have caused their tribulations or unsympathetic to their problems. That may explain why Wako is being asked to "give legal advise", the goal being to defray the punches from Raila/Kibaki to another person.

am sure if you or me is presented today with such an opportunity you will definately go for it. in other words, "The end justifies the means"........even John Mututho aka Naivasha MP said openly he also received 500K from the same plot and was wondering why the so-called defunct KACC has failed to go for him. this was purely political rhetoric which is even hardening the supporters of Ruto...as one Mbugua named it....even if Ruto or Uhuru will be taken to Hague....we will still vote for Him.
 
 
FYI if today i get such a golden opportunity to sell( and be approved by the Lands Commissioner---- that the land is valid for sale with no questions raised) i will definately smile all the way to the bank provided by end of day.. i have put food to the table for my family.......

I dont see anything wrong here! If indeed he was part of the goons, let him face the law, as Ruto.

The fact is that Ruto's source of wealth is questionable, and now we are getting to know some of the sources.

Oh not another punch. What is happening to our brother in Christ? Is he being finished politically as he alleges or

Higher Education minister William Ruto will face a Sh96m fraud case following a ruling by a constitutional court Friday.
A three judge bench declined to grant Mr Ruto prayers in a case involving the sale of Ngong Forest land to the Kenya Pipeline Company nine years ago.
Through his lawyer, Katwa Kigen, Mr Ruto said the case was meant to finish him politically, was discriminatory and constituted an infringement of his rights.
