Lest we forget-Getting out the YES Vote!!: 'No' camp a disservice to Kenyans, says Kibaki

Sungu,
I agree. We need to get each and every vote. There is no need to claim that you are for new constitution and then stay at home. Meanwhile Kibaki says:
'No' camp a disservice to Kenyans, says Kibaki

"Since independence we have been trying to have a new constitution and the few dragging us behind should come to their senses," he said

Central Province leaders are doing a great job encouraging the voters to turn up in large numbers to vote for the draft KATIBA using door to door campaign. The YES team needs to shift strategy and embark on getting out the vote all over the country, this needs to be replicated in all the 8 provinces where YES is destined to carry the day.

By and large, Kenyans have always been in agreement on the need for a new and good KATIBA. The onus is now on everyone not only to get out and vote for it, but ensure all other Kenyans of goodwill do the same.

This week is the week of getting out the vote, everyday, encourage your friends, neighbours, relatives and work-mates to make a date with destiny, a date to change our country for our own good, a chance to do good things for ourselves without pleading with any politician to do that for us, a chance to get things right without having to pay hefty salaries for our politicians.

Do this by sms, email, phone calls, word of mouth. Whenever you have a conversation with those close to you, end it with a positive note such as "vote for Kenya on August 4th". Remind even your old mum and dad at home lest they forgets.

If politicians have failed to give us good laws in many years despite us paying them hefty salaries, this is our chance to do it ourselves, and we do not have to hear stories of "lack of quorum to pass the laws, we do not want to witness walk-outs when a vote is called"

We, Kenyans, will do it ourselves. This is our chance and we have the quorum!!!!
