Re: IMPORTING A CAR TO KENYA IS KILLING ME!!

My friend welcome to Kenya and when it lands make sure it does not end up at Interpel CFS. A car stayed there for three weeks and 90 K had to be coughed for it to be released ati handling and storage charges. This guys are rip offs

Hi Good people,

How is it possible that paying import duty, exice duty, VAT, IDF and
registration of a vehicle in Kenya costs more than the price of the
vehicle itself, this is seek and its a total ripoff, does anyone know
whether all this is genuine or its a kawaida thing?
I'll appreciate all feedbacks

Regards
Machoka
