Kenyan ambassadors summoned over Omar al-Bashir's visit

Kenyans;

Here we go again with our  home country Kenya. The empty headed politicians who invited Omar al-Bashir to Kenya are now silent at home but Kenyan diplomat abroad are on hot heat trying to speak broken English explaining why the racist Bashir who killed over 300 000 blacks in Darfur visited Kenya. To those who still do not know why bashir should not come to Kenya: Please just read the history of South Africa or USA. In south Africa when whites were still in power the blacks were treated almost like animals. Not allowed to be free or even own some types of Jobs, had their own latrines etc. Bashir is a racist who believe that blacks are not arabs and are just niggers who do not deserve any home land or freedom. Infact to cut the story short just visit Darfur to see what I am talking about. But we have seen how people like Mandela, Martin Luther King have brought changes to blacks even in Kenya we saw how Mau Mau, Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga etc also brought us changes and freedom. So the big question is this; Why did our country host somebody like Bashir who hates us we blacks that much and have killed over 300 000 people just because they are not arabs who hold different views from arabic culture?. What does Kenya stand to gain by Bashir`s visit?. Just as I said earlier a country like Kenya will never be independent unless she eliminates poverty. This poverty I do not only mean poor people in Kenya only but also constant government poverty of dependent on people like Bashir who kill blacks just like a game playing in the video shops.

Kenyan ambassadors summoned over Omar al-Bashir's visit

Kenyan ambassadors in Europe have been asked to explain why Kenya did not arrest the Sudanese president during a recent visit to Nairobi.

There is an International Criminal Court arrest warrant for President Omar al-Bashir on genocide charges.

President Bashir was in Kenya last week for a ceremony marking the adoption of a new constitution.

The ambassadors were summoned to foreign ministries in a number of European countries.

Kenya is a signatory to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and is obligated by its warrants.

"They emphasized that the UK expects the government of Kenya to stand by its obligations under the Rome Statute, and as a UN member state," a statement from the British High Commission in Nairobi said.

The ICC has reported Kenya to the UN Security Council over the visit.

In July the African Union instructed its members - which include Kenya - not to apprehend Mr Bashir.

Kenya is not the first ICC signatory to choose not to arrest Mr Bashir. Earlier this year he travelled to Sudan's neighbour Chad, which took no action and said the visit had helped to improve bilateral ties.
