Ever wondered why most terrorists are muslims. That is why most people are keen about their operations. The 9/11, Kampala, Kikambala, Nairobi and Dar bombings and others bear footprints of muslim fundamentalists. Even in Somalia, the recent bombings in a hotel where people were celebrating the graduation ceremony is another example. And interestingly, when these things happen, no muslim has ever condemned their own brothers when these things happen. They are united.
Call those who are againts this as xenophobes or any other word. That fact is that Islam can only be seen as a religion of peace when they stop suicide bombings and other terrorism activities targeted at innocent people. Let people be allowed to convert to Islam voluntarily and not through force.

Your problem is not terrorists, your problem is Islam, period. The fact that Al-Amin is a high profile non-Somali-Arab-Indian-Muslim is what is bugging you. Your project is to scare the the Kenyan population and try to halt the influence of Muslims in Kenya.
The law says a suspect is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law properly constituted. Again the yardstick of guilt for a crime is beyond reasonable doubt. Not applying this bars built into all laws smacks of xenophobia, discrimination, baseless, hatred, niggardliness with the law and utter stupidity. There is no debate here because debate can only exist where there is an issue to be debated, here the law of the land is clear and precise. What you are trying to convince is not only justification for breaking the law but utter disregard for the very existence of Kenya as state; it is seditious.

Robert is right "full stop" kimathi is not the only Kenyan who advocates for respect of the Kenyan LAW and Constitution.
But he advocates for suspected terrorists. Sheikh to most of us a suspected terrorist is Guilty and he proves himself innocent.

This is xenophobic bullshit without an iota truth. Your reasoning is warped and without regard to either law or equity. Just because someone is vocal does not mean he supports a particular action. Unlike the "security forces" whose idea of investigation is to rendition people to Ethiopia and then release them without charge after 8 months, Kimathi has always advocated for respect of the Kenyan LAW and Constitution.
Respect for law and constitution is imperative for all the citizens if not let everyone take the matter to his own hands and the ensuing chaos will be detrimental to all of us. Let everyone respect the LAW otherwise lets remove it and do as we wish.

Security matters should be left to the security bodies. I believe and suspect that Al Amin Kimathi supports and talks for terrorists. Al Amin is very vocal when suspected terrorists are arrested but never vocal when ordinary muslims are arrested. I believe that Al Amin Kimathi is a spokesman for Al-Qaeda and he should be ready to clear his name in a court of law.
His behaviour at the demo to support Al-Faisal reinforced my view. Our security iss more important than the rights of a few fundamentalists be they Christians, Budhists, Muslims or Atheists

Update: The charges are as
per the charge sheets of the other 37 suspects, involving acts of terror
resulting in the deaths of 70 persons ie. he stands accused of
involvement in the July 11 bombings.
Of the 38 suspects, 13 are Kenyan and, of those, 9 were illegally
renditioned for purposes of this trial (when legal extradiction was an
option and a fairly standard procedure, which the Government of Tanzania
has followed in respect of Tanzanian suspects, for example). Two of the
wives of the nine were also present at the press conference.
As previously mentioned, there are a number of organizations following
up on different aspects: a) ensuring continued monitoring of the trials
of the Kenyan suspects; b) strengthening the legal defense for and
possibly mounting a legal challenge to Al Amin's charging given his HRD
status; c) trying to raise and get his case addressed politically, again
given his HRD status. If anybody not already engaged wants to help on
