siaya county

Maurice,

Please  read below are those credentials right for Elizabeth Ongoro you are talking about or the one you are talking about is a different one?.

Elizabeth Ongoro:
Born on 8th March 1969, The Honorable Member of Parliament is married with three children. She is a holder of a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Planning and Management from Nairobi University and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University. Besides being an Assistant Minister she has had several achievements within the constituency.

She has established Kasarani Youth support initiative, Kasarani Savings and Credit Co-operative Society, A program dubbed NO BABIES WITH BABIES, She has constructed a girls boarding primary and secondary school, established a running office for the first time in the constituency. Her strongest passion is in educating, serving and empowering the girl child aho has been marginalized and ignored for the longest time in Africa.

As a part of her Strategic Plan for the Kasarani Constituency, Hon. Elizabeth Ongoro and her team that is comprised of both professionals and constituency stakeholders have put into place mechanisms and measures to deal with tribalism, impunity, and divisive politics. She has been actively involved in a healing and reconciliation initiative within the constituency, which has successfuly seen communities mending broken fences and cohabiting in harmony.

The process was initially slow due to the emotional and physical scars borne by victims and perpetrators alike, but has gradually picked up momentum and now some members of the community have embraced and steerhead the excercise.

If those things are true then she is a lot better leader than even a lot of present luo nyanza Mps  luos want to give direct nominations to high posts.
