Once you exhaust your Bamba Unlimited bundle you will receive a message that says: You have exceeded Fair Use for your unlimited package. Your package will expire at ............ and your bandwidth will be throttled. You will instantly understand why they chose the word "throttle." It literally means "kunyonga kabisa."
Safaricom have also stated clearly in their adverts and I quote:
When I exhaust the Bamba Unlimited bundle, can I still purchase the existing data bundles?
Yes you can.
But brethren, you CANNOT purchase the existing data bundles after exhausting the Bamba Unlimited bundle. When you call Customer Care staff they just smile and tell u to buy another Bamba Unlimited bundle so that u remain a loyal slave!!!
