Re: Buying Parliamentary Seat for 150Million!

Mr. Oyoo,
Well said and analysed.
These cultic  and blind following of our "leaders" has led us to where we are today.
Iam gland though now that the new Katiba allows you if dissatsfied with party policies to resign in good time and run as a  PRIVATE CANDIDATE. That was the first thing that came to my mind  after the nomination  fiasco in makandara.
Young people, lets wake up and stop following those so called leaders blindly. I would even suggest an association of private candidates as long as its not a registered political party. Any suggestion out there?

Good day,
Kingasste.

Sungu,

OUR political Parties! If they don't shape up we shall do A and B...
My humble advice to us is we must get out of this mentally that these
parties belong to us. We know they belong to someone else. Its closed
minded in my opinion to pretend that we have even an inch of an acre
in those parties. Time and again their owners will act to demonstrate
these are their properties to abuse as they please. By the way in the
strictness of definition, the so called Political Parties do not even
meat the political party characteristics. It will be a waste of time
to try reforming them. But we are not helpless. who says we cannot
form, run and finance political parties? Why must a political party
have a Raila, Kibaki, Kalonzo Ruto  or Uhuru in it for us to call it a
Political Party. Why do we love these short cuttings ati if Raila
forms it then we can benefit from it's goodwill? Honestly how hard is
it for us to form them. Why can't we see the opportunity there is in
forming a party that is cut off a different clothing from the ones we
keep make believing are political parties.

We are not helpless and we need to empower ourselves. We can
positively compete with these contraptions we are being forced into by
the media and beat them very easily. If we woke up tomorrow and Raila
had moved from ODM to CHAFU party we will all become CHAFU damu?

Out of the box men and women. We have only our chains to loose my
brothers and sisters. Young people have been running far more complex
organizations than these personality driven political parties.
