kibaki has always been a tribalist and will always remain one. to kibaki if you are not a kikuyu you are a nobody. the only problem is that kenyans have accepted this blatant tribalism without protesting.
many of you may have missed kibakis speech on kenyattas death anniversary where he highly praised the late kenyatta as the best thing that ever happened to kenya yet it is the mess kenyatta created that we were trying to rectify by changing the old constituition.
why did kibaki rush to appoint kaburu as the head of cid a day before signing the new constitution. it shows clearly kibaki does not believe in the new constitution which says presidential appointments will be vetted by parliament in the new constitution and that is why he rushed to appoint mundu wa nyumba kaburu to replace the dead kikuyu cid director. it is laughable when they say kaburu is highly educated and thats why he was appointed. the guy has masters in international relationship . what has this got to do with cid work. he should be a diplomat. it is the same reason a former priest muhoho was appointed to head kenya airport authority. if kaburu was not a kikuyu nobody would have cared about his masters in international relationship.
kibaki should realise their is nothing special about kikuyus. they have been in power during kenyattas and now his regime yet kenya continues to wallow in poverty and mediocrity. in fact the mess we are in is largely attributable to kikuyus- look at the grabbing of land which was started during kenyattas time and by kikuyu mayos and councillors in city hall which has caused total chaos in land issues and planning for this country.
the good thing is that the new constitution gives us powers to question kibakis actions and we should prepare to start instituting court cases against this regime.

This is an open message to Dr.Kibunja because he should NOT just be talking but ACTING on Tribalism in Government. President Kibaki has openly practised Tribalism since 2003 and now it seems its getting out of hand just as we welcome the NEW REPUBLIC. Dr.Kibunja please do take some action on this. I will just give some examples: 1 In the last three months, President Kibaki has done the following in terms of appointments a) Mr.Stephen Gichuki was appointed to replace Mr.George Muhoho as Managing Director of Kenya Airports Authority b) Mr.Francis Ndua was appointed to replace Mr.James Mulewa as Managing Director of Kenya Ports Authority c) Mr. Muhoro Ndegwa has been appointed to replace Mr.Simon Gatiba Karanja as Director of CID All the above are people from the same Province being appointed to high level positions. Add the above to the following high level and most important positions in Government.
