Re: Government on Safaricom/Telkom Orange.

It saddens me to see pals advocating for protectionism in a free economy, i hate safaricom for exploiying Kenyas for long.Their market dominance has never benefited any Kenyan, instead they selfishly charge high prices and barred other players from having equl footing in the market.Remember the mobitelea saga, a cohort that until now,few Kenyas know of the owners.Saf has enjoyed govt backup to be what its.In a free mkt competition wl result in fair prices and  quality packs to the comnsumer. If they cannot play by the rules of competition, let them diversify. They cannot blame other players for ttheir startegies, indeed are other players not making miney out of the price cuts?I dont fancy safaricom and its selfish outlook of abnormal profit  drives.

I dont enjoy paying high prices for the calls i make, why sympathise wth  Safcom?
We need competition, let mkts regulate the prices, through free hand mechanism.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

At this late the industry wil shut down n my friend that means ua cousin brother, and al relatives who r indirectly employed in this industry wil go where? At this rate of tarriff war its not making business sence. N then what wil happen, the good service that safcom benchmarked n introduced to kenya exp of customer service wil be no where to be found. My friends bharti or is it zain wil be long gone to india or whereever n no jobs 4 kenyans n their kids. Cheap is expensive in the long run my friends. Jivunieni kenyan company, safaricom.
