Yea;

We are through with Equity, Safaricom, Kenya Airways ........ , now
its Kenya Methodist University. Let us be sincere, that KEMU is a
private faith based organization and they only admit people of their
faith to run them. Same happens to Catholic University (a guy was
sacked there for supporting the new constitution against the Church's
position). As for the way its structured, I believe in what others
before me have observed, that it happens its an almost Meru Church.
Even the head office is in Meru. So they are probably going to have
senior people in Church heading their church run institution.

Personally I have been taught by Prof. Alfred Mutema at Egerton
University and believe he was very competent. If we are interested in
competency, lets forge ahead and understand that we cannot all be
equal, and we cannot force ourselves on other people.

Having said that, couldn't we have fought for "workplace diversity" in
the new constitution while we were talking gender and the girl child?
I believe whether private or public, this is a serious cancer in ALL
businesses, trust me, its all Kenyan enterprises suffering this
squalor. Anyone been at Kenyatta National Hospital when Hon Ngilu was
health minister? Lets not throw stones, the problem is ALL OF US!!!.

Even the PM's appointments have been a heated subject in this forum,
someone needs to reintroduce the list so that we understand its a
problem in the whole country, not just at KPA, KEMU, Egerton
University, Moi University, Kenyatta National Hospital, Min. of
Finance, Central Bank, Co-op Bank, Equity Bank, University of Nairobi,
Central Bureau of Statistics ... but to mention a few institutions
with skewed employment.

Ok, Okiya Omtatah, I know you are a worrior, can we work on "workplace
diversity" so that the 1,000 or so El Molo can also get jobs? Its just
my thinking.
