You will have to kill Maanzo to take the Leadership or tobecome a leader in ODM-K. That Party is reserved for Musyoka and musyoka alone. It will only be used at his discresion, particularly when compain period is declared.
In my mind I think if you wonna head to an election Victory in 2012, the right Party to be is ODM. Join it now if you haven't already joined, then use it as a platform to "Heckle Up" Policies. Use it to mobilize and to educate the Citizens so that you end up standing out from many of those 'Benderas" who always have nothing to talk about, but only, to warn other people should be told to go home. The likes of Olueny, or the Gem MP, who has little on the ground to show for, and who even given a chance cannot make a coherent Party policy statement, cannot be relied upon to build ODM to the next generation. If at all the Fulcrum shifts position these politicians cannot stand on their own. Neither can they articulate the policies of the party. The time is now. When one succeeds in doing this then the people will vote you in no matter what. That is the food for thought.

| A political party is formed with the sole purpose of capturing power and then wielding and using the same power to implement its programs and policies. But ODM-Kenya seems to have become an appendage of PNU in all matters political and have not fielded any candidate in any by-elections since 2007. Anyone who dares contest on ODM-Kenya will get NO SUPPORT from the party chairman. Its even said that MP-Elect Gideon Mbuvi of Makadara wanted to contest on ODM-Kenya until he was told that was not possible. Why is Kalonzo Musyoka killing ODM-Kenya? You cannot be a leader who keeps on following other leaders. Kibaki is leaving the scene in 2012 and if Kalonzo was a leader as Martha Karua is-he should be building ODM-Kenya. Why does Kalonzo always tag himself on other peoples coats all the time? This is exactly how Musikari Kombo killed Ford-Kenya by blindly following other leaders. Why cant Kalonzo just resign as leader of ODM-Kenya and leave someone else to lead this party? Kalonzo plus PNU were trounced BADLY in Juja, Makadara and Starehe....
