Whatever it is, it seems it had no effect on Mburi. Looking on the bright side of Mburi's case, he is the only young man that has come forth to show that when he was a little younger he displayed abundant family love and care by washing his own mother. Is this not the same love that a mother shows to her children by washing them to a certain age when they can do the same on their own? Note that this is purely family love. This kind of love is that you show towadrs everyone in the Family, brothers and Sisters. It is just that LOVE.
On the other hand there is a different type of love that you will show towards those who are not your family members. This love is the passionate love that instinctively raises your sexual desire, and drives you to want to have 'sex' with the opposite sex. This is a very distinct love which have no place being shown towards any of the family members and close relatives.
When we are able to distinguish and put boundaries between these two then life becomes easier. I believe Mburi was able to subconciously distinguish these two at a tender young age, and this is what has made him to be the strong man he is today. Au siyoo?

Kuria can you believe I used to scrub my own mother's back as she bathed till I over grew that habit in form two.As you rightly put it,gishagi was one long extended homes with no breaks as ujamaa kind of.So given there was no power to warm the bathing waters,my mum formed this habbit of laying her water in the sun openly kwa karaya for about 45 minutes by which time t would be warm then shout my name after a few handful showers'.I would then be given an already wet cloth foaming with soap to do her back==for the time i was in primary school it never seemed a big deal but as we began those baba na mama trades I became fearful of this habbit whcich never seemed to bother Mama till I rebelled at form two.

For your information, I was sexually active before age 10 and remember those days because we lived in a proper gichagi, all homes in one area and so it looked like a town except most homes were grass thatched. That didnt stop fornication from taking place but I became more careful and Muthoni continued to provide the mama services until she was taken by a more developed carrier.

Rose,The reason is that people use science in their favor. Science can't prove everything.
