Jagem,
Good summation on how to work and get things done. I believe if kanjo partnered with business and did what you mentioned down here, it would help fix things much, they could even go ahead and give concessions to those who are registered members of cleaning programs like %age of rate payment off if you are a registered member of "Clean Nairobi Monthly" and actually take part in such programs. They could device a way of tracking their membership and active participation in divisions.
I thus support, like I have always done, partnering programs so long as the NCC ensures it lives to its part of the bargains. It is the same way businessess within the city could be asked to take active part in cleaning on a daily basis the space in front of their shops in exchange for say one parking slot for free!! Their own staff could do this, the one who cleans the business premise.
The kanjo employees doing office fronts can thus be freed to do cleaning elsewhere on roads and other areas where offices are not located.
