I dont know how many current MPs promised their constituent part of their salary, but I remember Shabir Shakil promised must I have been made to understand that he pockets all of it. I also know my local MP used alot of money to campaign to the extend that people thought he would be the solution to all their problem. If anyone of you can remember the way Peter Odoyo run like a mad man for the certificate but my constituent resisted all his attempt and made sure the certificate went to the money-bag, Mr. Polins Onyango Daima. Currently, he is the worst MP Nyakach has ever produced!!!

Lets give Sonko six months. We will still be around here in this blogs! Saying and doing are deferent things. If anything, MPs are supposed to 'make laws in parliament', not to build road and provide security. Those are responsibility of the government!

In the 7 oclock news bulletin,Sonko said he is not "Sonko the rich" but Sonko wa kuwa na masikini.

Youths have the weapon-the numbers, the energy, more time,National ID Card and Voters cards.Unfortunately they want hand outs to vote.

Mliona news about the Kirima family, wamama walikuwa wakipatia vijana mawe kurushia wengine askari pia wakiwa kwa operation - cant the youths broker peace!

The rich could start sponsoring the youths to use them as their pawns for the lucrative goverment contracts and to be avenues to the centre of power.

When a young man uses 150million be very afraid.

Anyway lets watch, some characters may work against the paradigmn shift we are hoping to create. They may fail miserably and that will be a basis for the community to judge the youth.

I believe we should only rejoice when we are sure we have given the voters quality leadership. Not just passing with the label YOUNG.

My question, Is Sunko quality? Whats his track record? Who is he?

Oto and Lee,

We are actually between a rock and a hard place, our political parties and party leaders seek to impose leaders on us without allowing free and fair nominations, the alternative is those who have loads of cash to defeat the political parties yet may not have any leadership qualities worth talking about!!!

Kenyans need to begin defining leadership, not allowing party barons or the rich to determine leadership, we must begin to define leadership in our own terms. The reason we must begin a campaign of the issues, the only way we will break these yokes is when we make issues, even from Oto and Lee to enable them be elected rather than loads of cash, direct nominations or closeness to the party bosses.

Otieno Sungu.
Staying with the Issues!!!!

Lee,

It is amazing when one spends Kshs 150m for him to go earn Kshs 20m in the remaining period.

There is more that this man wants to hide than meets the eye.

It calls on us voters to be vigilant and be on the look out. These are not the kind of people who will move Kenya to the next level. These are the kind of people that we must run away from. They are not leaders, and never will be.

Oto

Is it viable to use 150Million to get elected as an MP for less than 2years?

Is it possible to use such money to fund sustainable development
projects for the people instead of using them for roadshow and
handouts!
