I remember Mbuvi seeking audience with the PM over the issue of grassroot nominations but Ndolo ensured that he was tear gassed and and denied access to the premier. If RAO wants to have a formidable strong party built on democratic foundations he needs to listen to people on the ground (voters). This thing of direct nominations is dictatorial and denies voters a chance to elect their leaders of choice within a strong party.
