Re: [VuguVuguMashinani] Re: [KOL] Buying Parliamentary Seat for 150Million!

Kombo,
You just do't get it do you? Whatever amount of money is little. This is not the problem. But if many Kenyans are turning blind eyes to what people do behind the scenes to aquire wealth then, use that wealth to go to parliament to make Laws for entire country; then we are headed to a very dangerous era.

Kombo let me give you an example. In another part of the world, there is a country called Mexico. Sometime back, a trend started there, where Young emerging Politicians, thought that the best way to go was to become wealthy overnight, then buy their way to Parliament to be law makers. Nobody questioned what methods they used, but it turned out that a lot many of them enlisted the services of questionable characters, who had direct connection to guys who run 'coca' plantations. Money came in fast, and soon Mexican Parliament was doted with, members with 'ulanguzi' background.

Years went by, and as it turned out, it became a norm for many others seeking government high offices to go this route of raising funds. Mexico was unknowingly growing a "monster." In the last ten Years that Monster has grown so big that it has become difficult to deal with. It is consuming nearly everything that stand infront of it.
Phillipe Calderon has had to declared a battle front in every sector, to try to bring semblence of Sanity back in the country. The Cartels that Sponsored Young Politicians are now in Control of the Country.

They can kill at will, they abduct children of judges, parliamenterians, businessmen, school teachers, Police officers, Army personel and relatives, Doctors, lawyers, football stars, relatives of beauty queens, the rich and even the poor in society, to demand for ransom. If you don't pay, you will have a body bag with your loved one inside. In short there is a complete breakdown of the Law. Parliamentarians now have to use the services of helicopters to fly from their homes to the office, else they will end in the hands of abductors.

Do Kenyans want that kind of scenario? I hope not. So what do we do? Stop giving birth to that monster, else it will eventually grow and tear you down to pieces. I don't know whether you can understand this bwana Kombo? All you seem to see is money being dangled infront of your nose, but you cannot see far beyond that!!!!!!

Elijah,

I must say I agree with you. The problem with most of us is we focus on irrelevant and very petty issues, which by the way if we were asked to provide evidence to support hatutaweza.  why cant we all just focus on what this guy can do in terms of development?
If he acquired his money illegally let the law take its course.
