Re: Al Amn Kimathi

Lee;

I have an uncanny eye for details, and my sixth sense always jolts me
into action whenever I notice something peculiar. When I support
Sonko, its because:

1. He's an elected people's representative. The people of Makadara
spoke loudly and everyone heard them, and thats a decision that will
have to be respected!

2, Mike Sonko might not please everyone, maybe I don't even like him.
No one likes people that look different from them. But fact remains,
the media failed to fact check on him when he announced his candidacy.
They gave him a free pass, they should give him a free pass even now.
How did they fail to notice this man yet here were records they could
fact check and warn people that they are entering a contract with a
fraud? Huh? The media is the people's eyes, and they chose to look the
other way. They only focused on R. Ndolo and D. Wathika. Their score?
I give them a mean grade of D-.

Safaricom;

We had KPTC aka Telkom Kenya aka Orange, and Kencell aka Celtel aka
Zain aka Airtel. Now, let us forget our frustrations for a while and
reflect yesterday. We used to complain so much about KPTC, that was
later sold and subdevided into Posta and Telkom Kenya. We all know
what Posta is doing - they are making losses and depend on your tax
for survival. They should be given to Dr. Michael Joseph. What about
Telkom? You will die waiting for a connection to your house, and even
after connection recieve hefty international calls bills even when
you do not have a monkey relative in diaspora. All that started
changing the moment Safaricom started charging per second, on the
second billing. Kenyans saw sense that they were being milked dry. Its
been 10 years since. We need not complain that at 8/- per minute, we
are being ,milked dry when under Telkom we could gladly pay 210/- per
minute to call USA, or even 45/- to call other networks on Zain.
Today, if I was in Lokitaung and there's no place to buy airtme and I
have M-Pesa, I will get the airtime. I will get money if I was robbed
of everything. Thanks to a simple technology solution that has existed
for more than 50 years and no world Telco utilized it until Safaricom
showed up. Now we really have short memories, or selective amnesia.

Al Kimathi;

Maan, I don't understand why I have to support this man! If he fights
for all of us, I would gladly cry loudly that the government
reproduces him. Now this guy only talks when Muslims are involved. He
only opens his mouth when a terrorist figure is arrested. When
ordinary muslims are being killed in the Middle East, and they come
from our land, he seaks no word, wait until a terorrist is arrested
and incarcerated. Abu & Lee, understand that I love all religions. But
even as I also know that not all moslems are radicals, 90% of all
radicals happen to be moslems, which is not a concidence. If you want
peace, tell your brothers to maintain the peace. Don't ask the
government to favour them while they maim with abandon, break peoples
limbs and cause terror in our nation and in some neighbouing
countries. Justice belongs to all of us.
