Kenya's ministry of higher education is toying with the idea of an open university starting January 2011.What new dimensions ( advantages and disadvantages) does this idea pose to higher education landscape the in country ?
How will existing universities (public and private) respond to the proposed institutional model of higher learning ? Will existing universities facilitate and nurture such a model ?
Generally how do Kenyans receive the concept ?
