Re: Bankers learns from G4S

Amenya,
i am not a banker but i tend to believe it all goes to the saying.."the end justifies the means"..
well interpretd i can bet its has to do with the employers themselves(though i know i will be crucified in this fora) where the bank managers as well as the security men are underpaid and precipitated by the current "virtue" in Kenyan men and women of getting rich quickly at whatever costs.
Now a psychologist or social worker will tell you that it makes no economic sense that the security guards as well as escort police officers get paid 1k and 500 shillings to ferry 80M or 300Million when indeed the security company and the police division(read the Government) pays a paltry sum to their employees. Who on this earth and this fora will tell me that its not economic sense.
Kenyans are becoming brilliant day by day  and raced with the ever increasing challenges our people faces will definately justify such theft.
i rest my case.

Now after G4S enters bankers.

A case study on G4S will be a very interesting one ,imagine over 700M have gone under the water.
Many of us may ask me what is Ksh 700m when Kenya is awash with cash?

I will say an unproductive monies easily fuel inflation in an economy

This is a serious issue because the moment this spread believe me bank runs will become imminent that is when customers loses trusts in our banking systems

It must be known to all that majority of our banks are poorly capitalized and any run will create disturbance in whole banking system.

I suggest an increased surveillance on how cash is handled in and out of the banks
