Jared,
I am also shocked and sudden by the death of Akuku Danger. He is going to the History books, probably to the Guinness Records for the man with largest Harlem (is this term acceptable or should we stick with wives?) of women. This is the man who had  made me confront my late grandfather once I heard and visited his homestead during my Mbita Days. I had to remind the late Mzee Kuria Mukera that his seven wives looked like a drop of water in the Ocean compared to Mzee Akuku Danger's Nation. Mzee Kuria was bragging all over Gatundu of his great nation until I dropped the bombshell although he asked me to also shut up because he didnt know whether I would go far. He was right since I have been going one step forward and one step backward.

I think he would have caught up with King Solomon if we live those many years the Bible mislead us about how some of those folks in the Bible lived. How come Jesus died almost at the age of Mike Sonko and folks then looked aged at Sonko's to the extent that life expectancy goes up? Why would people have life expectancy higher in OT than that of the NT and even today's age? Were they really counting the years the same way we count them or they thought months were years?

I take this chance to pass my condolences to the family of Mzee Akuku Danger. Pole sana. I am also disturbed to see that lack of proper medical services in Nyanza and in the country seem to make it difficult to save lives going by the story below.

Kuria wa MWangi,

I am sadened by the departure of Migosi Akuku Danger.  He lived a good life.  He is a good role model to those who want to be real men.  If he managed to handle all of them, then nobody should find it hard.

May his wives get someone else to continue from where he left.
