World Habitat Day

As we observe the World Habitat Day, I reiterate the value for climate sensitive development and the need to provide better housing for all. Descent housing constitutes a basic right and noone should be plaid out of this basic human entitlement. As Kenya marks this important day, there is need to take stock as well to reclaim in honor and happiness that which has been taken away, looted and even destroyed in shame, pain and grief.
