Simon Mbugua: A case t be ignored

Simon Mbugua's case is one that need to be ignored. We need to assume that the case was filed out of ignorance of the Embakasi MP. I dont know why Embakasi people keep producing representatives like Simon. Atleast Hn Mwenje taught Dr Karanja a lesson.

Mbugua campagined for this constitution and now he cannot turn against it! He is a typical example of those who were on the YES and they they didnt know exactly what the constitution says. I am wondering if the MP knows that the Katiba has already been passed and cannot therefore be challenged in court anyhowly like he is doing.

Mbugua has realised that his stint in Parliament has been without show. The other shows he has put on portrayed him negatively. And now he has started his theatre games to show the Embakasi people that he knows the laws.

Insted of going to the courts - i would want to see more of Mbugua in Parliament debating and debating......

I feel sorry for the people of Kamkunji. Their MP has no understanding of the roles of Parliament and the Courts. I hope he's paying for this court case from his own pocket.

Vetting of judges is a constitutional matter and can not be reversed by the courts. That by itself would be a serious case of conflict of interest. Judges can not rule on whether they should be vetted or not. It's like me ruling on whether I should be sanctioned at my job or not.

Kenya!!!!

Courage,
Maurice

Actually we have watu na viatu,

After so many complains against our  judiciary system ,a hon MP finds it more important to spare the same judicial system  I mean judges the agony of being vetted.

How many Kenyans are suffering due to delayed justice?

The vetting of judges came as a result of new constitution and it should rest with the people.

In poor judicial systems that has seen a backlog of 1 million cases pending in courts this is evidenced from a Sunday Nation newspaper report.

So if Hon Mbugua feels that by going against the will of the electorate by filing a case to stop vetting of judges is a noble idea. Then my fellow Kenyans we have no leader for Kamukunji .This is just self-seeking strategy to appease judges so that they may spare him a by-election.

We hope those judges involved in determining the election petition in Kamukunji will be professional enough to make a wise judgment.
