Re: [africa-oped] Ruto: Kenya minister suspended over fraud

Maurice,

For us to move to the next level we need to pay the price. In the bill is hurting some people, dampening some dreams and even loosing some friends for the sake of the general good. I love that Ruto was spearheading positive changes in the Ministry but if we dont act on serious allegations like fraud as prefered on him(Ruto) we loose the bigger battle as a country. My only prayer is that this precedence of ruthlessly acting on impunity-- and not fire fighting -- will be applied without favour. Wetangula and Kosgey should not be allowed to sit pretty. No double standards please.

Have a terrific Mashujaa day!

Ruto is a distinguished son of the great Republic of Kenya and definitely does not deserve this kind od mistreatment. Cutting him loose at this time is kicking someone when he's down.

Just unfair.

What happens now to the flag that was for Eldoret? Eldoret has no flag now?

Courage,
Maurice

It is getting too hot for Ruto. Hope his case does not take ages. Pole sana brother Bill.

Higher Education minister William Ruto has been suspended from Cabinet, just days after a constitutional court ruled he will face fraud charges.
