Re: Legal & Moral Cases against the CoE Draft

Random Notes,

At least thank you for recognising that I was not the author of the documents. At least you have read them, unlike the others who passed judgement just by seeing my name in the forwarding email.

God bless.

After having read the 10 page legal case and the 16 page document. My
final impression of the author is he/she is an ultra-conservertive
person who is also has a know it all attitude. The legal arguments
especially betray this mind-set. Most "errors" he points out are no
more than hair splitting points and a demonstration that it is
possible to disagree with anything and anyone once you have set your
mind to do so. I notice that no viable alternatives or suggestions are
offered. The author is either unwilling, unable or incapable of
separating difference of opinion from matters of fact.

On the moral arguments it seems he lifted the book directly from the
radical wing of the pro-life movement of the US the intolerance
doctrines of the Christian right - a cross between John Hagee and Pat
Robertson. The author comes across as insensitive and intolerant of
others views and where I think he goes over the top is when he
strongly advocates evils like child labour, discrimination, censorship
and hate speech under the guise of morality and religious instruction.
This guy even thinks being tolerant and liberal is evil.

It is clear to me after having read this document that it will be
impossible to please, agree or reach a compromise with a conservetive
extremist who wants all or nothing. The equivalent of a child throwing
toys out of the pram. I invite the author as it is his right to vote
NO as their concsience dictates but I am sure he are firmly in the
minority. Enough said.

Tuonane kwa debe.
