Here in DR Congo, there was Simon Kimbangu, the savior of the Congolese. He called himself the vision career.This guy died . His followers are a real mess here. A very confused lot!! Is this what you want to see with the 'coming of the African Jesus'?
Jesus Christ the Son of God is the only true savior. Amen

Suppose we had an African Jesus
We would not have the so called priests and clergies of today who are basically "western clergies" donning African garb. These are thoroughly indoctrinated by western civilization to confuse it with the pure gospel as we see it in the bible.
We would not have lost our cherished African beliefs top on the list being polygamy and wife inheritance. This means no street children and prostitutes and who knows, no Aids? I admit that this is a bit ambitious.
Many of us including beautiful ladies would be in African wear, to wit, topless. By all means this is beautiful and motivating. Of course Harry would not be happy because this is still religion. I must however be quick to point out that a majority would be happy- obviously the African Jesus would care about the majority and how he is esteemed by the majority. There are many other such benefits.
It is now left for someone to create or invent this Jesus.
