RE: Zain loses a million subscribers while Orange loses another 300,000 subscribers as well in one year.

I doubt this statement. I am switiching to Zain as they are offering better value for money. I cant say im a satisfied customer after many years and hundreds of thousands of shillings spent using Safcom. Siku hizi wanagonga sana especially to other networks.

These statistics are shocking. Can you substantiate or its just a rumor mill? As a marketer you should know better and prove with research facts and not mere speculation.

To increase clientel you have to get the grassroots. Zain focuses so much on international and urban calling habits even  though their network is superior.

We have asked that we brand the advertizing for them to reach the local person but they were not interested. Their main undoing is neglecting community and regional media.

So what is the point here! To celebrate the monopoly of Safcom?

The marker never lies, Zain despite all the activation, price war it
only succeded in hurting it's bottomline n lost a million clients.
Orange with all the backroom intrigues n arm twisting Gov. to give it
undue advantage over safcom they cant even pass the 1 million mark but
lost 300,000 clients. Don't blame anyone they hv a poor product.
Someone needs to explain to why Zain is still airing while it's been
sold cant they saven await the change over.

Lastly Yu realised their pricing was unsustainable considering their
huge loan book n debts accumulation. Price shoot up n i'm sure they
have lost ground also. Safaricom all they way the rest isn't certain.
