Threats in The Rift Valley MUST STOP!!!!

It is becoming apparent that whenever there is a political matter to resolve in this country, if it does not go one way or another, some politicians, and their followers in the Rift Valley resort to intimidation and threats to other communities perceived to be not conforming to their way of thinking.

This is most unfortunate and the government must clamp down on this trend. Rift Valley is part of Kenya just like any other region. It cannot be that those opposing KATIBA in Nyanza, Central, Coast, Eastern, Nairobi, North Eastern or Western have to leave because those areas are predominantly pro YES.

The government has to make such people realize that Kenya is for all Kenyans. Irrespective of which side we belong to, Kenya is ours, all of us. No region should be made "zones" for specific thinking or political thought. This is what KANU perfected with KANU Zones in the 90s and must not be allowed to take root again. It is the same intolerant people balkanizing Kenya into tribal groupings and zones.

I fully support Minister for Constitutional Affairs Hon. Mutula Kilonzo's stern warning to such misguided people spreading fear and dispondency that they risk serious government action and would urge him to go a step ahead and ask the Police Commissioner and intelligence service to go ahead and apprehend such people and throw them behind bars where they belong.

We should not wait until another round of butchering of Kenyans begins on the behest of misguided politicians. This time round, Kenyans of all walks of life should stand up against such antics.

Let people have the choice to chose, no community or people should be forced into a choice or made not to have a choice in their country because of their ethnicity. This is barbaric and sickening!!!!

I was disgusted to see a Kenyan on news say he will vote one way because of fear, we must all rise up against the Lords of fear and intimidation. This country is ours, all of us!!!!!
