You harvest to pour;It was Milk,Now its Tea.

Dear Kenyans,

Its amazing that we invest in farming only to have the produce spilled to the ground and not to our poorly equiped factories.

In a news CITIZEN TV News,i watched farmers in Githunguri spiling their tea leaves along the paths where they were chased by armed police officers.

Somebody was assigned to pluck the leaves, will he ever be paid! From where!

Our factory managers earn monthly salaries with attendant benefits, where does that leave our economy since it took time to grow the plantations!

The other day,it was milk.

Where are we getting it wrong,so that the farmer does not down the tools and become a begger!
