Please convert to muthokoi. You got the pestle (muinduri) and all you will need is ndiri (mortar) and you will be home and dry. Have you ever seen Kambas do muthokoi? You get the pestle and harmer it very hard into the mortar repeatedly until the stuff insider the ndiri becomes raini. Lots of force needed but the most important thing is that muthokoi is made and ready for a good dinner. The bigger the pestle, the better otherwise you will spend too much time working on that mortar if you use a small or thin pestle. It will be like cooking ugali with a spoon. You need a good mwiko to work the ugali and do very good cooking. But dont do it when you are drunk otherwise you will be like our brothers back in Murang'a. Kazi bure!

I like your name. It sounds good though I almost bit my upper lip when I tried pronouncing the name but with a grin. Kuria Mwangi is one of the most unreliable beings on earth and so can never be appointed to be my spokesperson.
