So what does Kalenjins want from Raila?Tell them to read Romans 12:1 and 2.with the new constitution , the goverment must develop every region and not what Moi did for Luo Nyanza for over 20 years. Please avoid cheap politics and start thinking and acting positively.Otherwise Kales are good people.Gotab Kalenjin!

Sarangonyi,
What the purpose of electing a leader? Shouldn't s\he be the one to give her\his constituents direction?

Eric, If you were not voting for Raila and if you have really suffered and you wanted redemption from the old constitution, you should have voted for the 2005 draft. What were contentious in that draft? is it not the parliamentary system vs the presidential system? I know for sure that had Raila said NO, the whole of Luo Nyanza would have said NO. It has become a fact.... not an issue to be debated. Nyanza always waits for Agwambo to give direction, and all will fall on line.

Kiprop,--
Mr. KipropThanks you saying you think Nyanza people were voting for Raila. So here i would like to inform you that it was not so. The Nyanza people are the ones who have suffered most under poor governance supported by bad constitution over the years and from successive governments. The people of Nyanza really know what they want in a good constitution which ensures good governance for every other Kenyan if not for them only. To say that Raila has been participating in arbitrary arrests of youths in Rift valley is to say that you are not aware who is the president of this country, and at worst not aware how the justice system works. How would you expect Raila to tell the police not to arrest people deemed by law to have committed atrocities which by the justice system are considered criminal. And only the president has the prerogative power to pardon those convicted by courts of law not the Prime minister as you may think. Ruto has his own war with Raila but never compare the people of Nyanza with rift valley in terms of anything. Nyanza people are far much ahead of rift-valley in virtually anything and everything let alone decision making in terms of what is good constitutionally or not for a people. When we had Chief Odera Kango whipping women and men to take children to school in the 50's no Kalenjin considered school anything to think about. Avoid creating friction among communities for nothing

Dear All,
As much as you may criticize Eastern Province or Rift Valley or whichever Province.
I think Nyanza were Voting for Raila and Not really for the Constitution, the same case for the leaders in their respective provinces.
ALL IN ALL KENYANS IN TOTALITY VOTED RIGHT.
The idea of being on the same side with Raila didn't go down well with Kalenjin Community.
The perception is Raila doesnt have Interest of the Kalenjin Community at heart at based on.
- Kalenjin voted for him to the last man in 2007.
- He Mobilized them to fight for their rights in 2007, they went to far i guess. They thought they were fighting for a just course.
- He went against every issue against the community the Mau issue, arbitrary arrests of young men who were seriously beaten maimed or even shot...after the PEV..
- He has been fighting their man "Leader" in the name of Ruto, in the Maize scandal whereas infact he was chairing the committee, vote of no confidence and even sacking despite his Ministry of Agriculture doing well.
As much as you we might resist, Everyone has some Element of Tribalism in him/herself.." a sense of belonging"...It is the way we use it that matters..Positive Ethnicity.
I admire one man RAILA.He means well for the country. But politics .......
This is a Good Constitution, Let us make it happen.
" RUTO COULD BE A BETTER LEADER THAN RAILA IN THE NEW CONSTITUTIONAL DISPENSATION WHO KNOWS?....
