Will "No" Ministers Resign After 5th of August 2010?

There are a number of Ministers who have chosen to campaign against the Proposed Constitution. Its their democratic Right to do so and we applaud their choice for we live in a democracy. But if YES wins tommorow, these ministers will feel very uncomfortable being in the same government implementing a constitution that they demonized for over three months. Secondly, how will these ministers help implement a constitution that they do not believe in?

Thirdly once the Constitution passes, how will these Ministers and MPs explain to their constituents that they should help in its implementation? How will they react or contribute in a cabinet that will be discussing implementation, implementation, implementation?
How will they contribute in a parliament that will be discussing over 70 Acts of parliament to implement the new constitution?

I think the best that the "No" Ministers can do is to first RESIGN from this government immediately the new Constitution is passed TOMMOROW. Then should then regroup and start the process of building alliances for ammending the clauses that they are opposed to. This would be the best course for them for it will show that they truly believed that such clauses needed ammendments.

What about sections of the church that opposed the new constitution? It will be interesting to see how Cardinal Njue, Bishop Peter Karanja, Bishop Mark Kariuki, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, Bishop Oginde, Bishop Odoyo reclaim their "MORAL GROUNDS" in the church after weeks and weeks of LYING to their congregations about the proposed Constitution and trying to create a pure spiritual world that does not respect REASON. But lets wait and see what happens.

With the dawn of an era in which our constitution was made to become our burden, raped and mutilated, our  backs broken by a bad constitution which allowed for resources to be determined by a select few, skewed and misapporpriated to quench private greed rather than public thirst for develoment by a group that became the wealthiest amongst the weathy in the world, stashing billions of dollars of our sweat in foreign bank accounts, grabbing and stealing the prime of arable land, corrupting our country with abandon and pilfering like they are stealing from the devil, Kenya;broken, slumped and dropped from a promising African nation, a beacon only compared to Egypt, Morrocco and South Africa at that time, most of these countries with mineral wealth and oil which we are not endowed with.

Ours has just been hard work, with an Agricultural driven economy, Kenyans are among the most hard working people of the world, to create an economy as big as that of Uganda an Tanzania combined without the endowment of resources such as gold, oil, diamonds etc, we are a novel people to marvel. That ridding on hard work in farms, we managed to educate a population among the best in Africa from the produce of the land, develop a country that is one of the best in East and Central Africa, gain international fame and recognition through our astuteness and aggressive business acumen that is enviable to none in East and Central Africa, we are a people to behold.

Then came the thieving cabal of the 1990s, the KANU machine that wrecked havoc on all this, went on a pilfering spree, went on a grabbing spree and destroyed our economy, our economy that was competing with the Asian Tigers such as Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and the best of the fast developing economies.

Let us forget these crooks because talking too much about them causes distress!!!!!!!

We have a chance tomorrow to seek our lost glory, to give birth to a new nation, to get back to our sense of pride, hard work and resilience that was broken by these greedy cabal. We cannot allow chalatans to continue holding our country at ransom as we die of hunger, poverty, suffer unemployment while they enjoy ill gotten wealth and tell us all is just fine, that we postpone the looming drive into the new Kenya where we shall get back to the development track with gusto, zeal and zest.

This cannot be allowed, the anti reformists can be allowed to enjoy what they stole in peace but to try and prevent us from making Kenya tick again is unforgiveable. The only weapon you have as a Kenyan to defeat them is your vote.

Get out and vote tomorrow, let not perrenial and perpetual anti refomists, people who only think of themselves and their progeny as Kenyans and not the rest of us must be told in no uncertain terms that Kenya belongs to all of us, not a mere clique who are helbent on protecting stolen public property.

Ensure all your relatives, friends, colleagues, come out in large numbers to vote for Kenya.

Otieno Sungu.
Our Freedom is coming Tomorrow!!!!!!!
