Re: [NVK-Mageuzi] KTN Poll

Jonah, Gumbia, et al,

I hope the results of the call-in polls carried by the two stations come to be the true reflection of the situation on the ground.  If for nothing else; not even the merits of the PC, Kenyans will have passed a message to the two merchants of death and destruction that we have no trust/faith in them, and we'll be a happier lot if they stopped polluting our air ways and TV screens! Consequent to a win by the NO side, Kibaki and Raila should RESIGN, dissolve government and simply disappear into oblivion.

It is the height of insensitivity and the hallmark of the highest levels of impunity for the duo, in whose names death and destruction unknown to us before, were visited on innocent Kenyans; to traverse the country asking us to trust them with anything, when in the same audiences sits kenyans who lost loved ones, kenyans who walked to the meetings from IDP camps and many more whose lives were forever changed because of allegiance (real/perceived) to the two.

Supposing they had employed the same gusto and resources to the plight of IDPS and national reconciliation? Deployed civil service, Provincial administration, media and all?  Clearly money for this is not a problem if they can afford the billions to put up the kind of campaign we have seen. Neither are they deficient in the energies and drive to push for national reconciliation; heck, we saw even the usually tired, incoherent and sleepy Kibaki turn springy, refreshed and full of energy!!

Vote NO to a DIVISIVE draft fronted by merchants of DEATH and IMPUNITY, if only to send a message and hopefully send this duo and their associates packing.

Kibaya
