*** Why were Biblical Miracles One - Off?

Folks, G*********t,

Lets say i come to your home village and find 100 hungry families. And the only granary in the neighbouhood has only two maize cobs and a cup of beans.

Then i raise the cup of beans and the two maize cobs, pointing them towards the skies (or heaven as some call it) and alas!!! Harry has performed a miracle..... Hundreds of maizecobs and many many cups of beans pour all over the place. The families then quicky make a meal out of the maize and beans and distribute amongst themselves.

 

But one week down the line, the food is over and hunger checks in again......What would possibly happen? My guess is the hungry families would beg me to perform the same miracle  again, and if i dont i would have to see them die. And since i performed the first miracle, why not do it again? I mean i am basically God!!! I am the son of God. And it doesn't hurt, does it? 

 

In the Bible, the way Jesus performed miracles is pretty unrealistic, strange even. It gives the picture of a movie star who kills the enemies and we are not told how they (enemies) were burried..the movie just ends....Lets think through the miracle of two loaves of bread and five fish for a sec.... i would expect that the community at that time would pester Jesus to perform the miracle over and over again...because the community would have to get hungry again at some point naturally.

I would expect that someone creative would make a very nice meal, kuku and chapos, and maybe kachumbari, and take it to Jesus and tell him to replicate the meal into 1000s of plates. The point is, were the miracles of Jesus supposed to be one off?
